These Terms and Conditions of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client," "you," or "your") and Salvitae ("Salvitae," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of our website, application process, programs, consultations, digital content, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing this website, submitting an application, scheduling a consultation, or completing a purchase through Stripe Checkout, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or Services.
1. Nature of Services (Non-Medical)
Salvitae provides educational, lifestyle, and wellness optimization services focused on longevity, healthspan, and performance. Salvitae does not:
- Provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
- Act as a healthcare provider
- Replace care provided by licensed medical professionals
All Services are provided for informational and educational purposes only. You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your health decisions and outcomes.
2. Eligibility and Client Representations
By using the Services, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You have the legal authority to enter into this agreement
- All information you provide is accurate and truthful
- You understand the non-medical nature of the Services
Salvitae reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at its sole discretion.
3. Applications and Acceptance
Certain Services are offered by application only. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. Salvitae reserves the right to accept or decline any applicant for any lawful reason.
4. Fees, Payments, and Authorization
4.1 Fees
All fees for Services are disclosed prior to purchase and are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
4.2 Payment Authorization
By completing a purchase through Stripe Checkout, you:
- Authorize Salvitae to charge your selected payment method for the full amount displayed
- Acknowledge that payment is processed by a third-party payment processor (Stripe)
- Agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
Salvitae does not store your payment information.
4.3 No Refunds / No Chargebacks
Due to the personalized, high-touch, and time-reserved nature of Salvitae Services: ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
- No refunds, partial refunds, credits, or chargebacks will be issued once payment is completed
- No refunds will be issued for unused sessions, early termination, or failure to participate
- Chargebacks or payment disputes will be treated as a material breach of these Terms
You expressly waive any right to dispute charges based on dissatisfaction, non-use, or change of circumstances.
5. Electronic Acceptance & Records
By clicking "Pay," "Complete Purchase," or similar language in Stripe Checkout, you:
- Consent to electronic contracting
- Agree that your electronic acceptance constitutes a legally binding signature
- Agree that electronic records satisfy any legal requirements for written agreements
6. Client Responsibilities
By participating in Salvitae Services, you agree to:
- Take full responsibility for your health and lifestyle choices
- Consult a licensed healthcare provider before making health-related changes
- Participate respectfully and responsibly
- Follow program guidelines and session scheduling policies
Failure to comply may result in termination of Services without refund.
7. Disclaimer of Medical Advice
Salvitae does not provide medical advice. Nothing provided through the website, Services, or communications should be interpreted as:
- Medical diagnosis
- Medical treatment
- Prescription or medical instruction
Always seek guidance from a qualified healthcare provider regarding medical conditions or medications.
8. Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge that lifestyle changes, physical activity, and dietary modifications involve inherent risks. By using Salvitae Services, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with:
- Physical movement or exercise
- Nutrition or fasting strategies
- Lifestyle and behavioral changes
You agree to release Salvitae from liability related to such risks to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Salvitae shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages
- Salvitae's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific Service giving rise to the claim
You agree that use of the Services is at your own risk.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, materials, and program resources provided by Salvitae are proprietary and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, resell, share, or exploit Salvitae materials without prior written consent.
11. Confidentiality & HIPAA Notice
Salvitae treats client information with discretion; however:
- Salvitae is not a covered entity under HIPAA
- Information shared is not protected health information under HIPAA
12. Termination
Salvitae may suspend or terminate Services immediately, without refund, if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in abusive, disruptive, or unlawful behavior
- Provide false or misleading information
13. Third-Party Services
Salvitae may utilize third-party tools (including Stripe, Calendly, and Typeform). Salvitae is not responsible for:
- Third-party service availability
- Third-party errors or interruptions
- Third-party privacy or data practices
Use of third-party services is at your own risk.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
15. Updates to Terms
Salvitae may update these Terms at any time. Changes are effective upon posting to the website. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
